The reasons a few of my past bands have not worked out are due to the same problems that seem to reappear; too many musicians are not reliable, not serious, egotistical and lazy.
I want to start a new band that has a mix of Rock n Roll, 80s Rock/Metal and Pop/Punk Rock. I want a modernized sound, but something unique and different that is catchy and melodic at the same time.

12-14-11 – Des Moines, IA>Chicago, IL – We are in SERIOUS need of a drummer between the ages of 20 – 40′s / 50′s that’s into classic rock and metal from the 70′s / 80′s like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Queensryche, Deep Purple, Dokken, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Ratt, etc. All that good stuff, to finish out a five piece band (Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Bassist, Keyboardist, and hopefully YOU). Rhythm guitar is also a possibility, but not 100% “needed” at this point. Already have a list of covers learned as a band, that we play to a set of arranged drum tracks. We will also be writing and recording originals, which will become more of the focus of the group as time goes on. We’ve got a high quality PA system, full acoustic triggered kit to audition you with, (complete with monitors). We ask that if you are interested, that you learn a handfull of the covers if you don’t already know them (we can supply you with isolated drum tracks, and a sample of our original material), and give it a shot. We’re willing to work with people to get a complete line up ironed out, we just need commitment. We also want to gig by the summer. We all have a very fun, yet professional attitude – we expect the same from you. Looking for someone that can work up a 2-3 hour 3 set list of covers and originals in the next six to eight months.

**MUST be able to travel once a week (give or take depending on weather) to Cedar Rapids, and either carpool with us to Waterloo or drive yourself**
