My influences include the Beatles and Nirvana, early Led Zeppelin, the Stooges, the White Stripes, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. On the acoustic side I like Elliott Smith and Leonard Cohen. Brian Wilson is also a huge inspiration.
I really believe this soft, electro, whatever-you-wanna-call-it that’s out and “popular” right now will fade and fade fast. I want to make great music that rocks and is real, played by real musicians.
I want people with fresh ideas, confident personal style — and as important: sensibilities and taste for the past classics.
Definitely a laid back guy . . . having said that, I must add: I am looking for people that are willing to make this music their first priority. I want a band that can rely on each other for rehearsal, shows, recording, touring, etc.

12-08-11 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – I am a keyboard player, looking to join an existing top-notch band or creating a top-notch classic rock band in the Loganville GA area, with some southern rock and some modern country. I will not play hip-hop or rap-crap. Since I’m on the lower side of 60, I prefer to play with musicians who are between 45 and 65 years of age.

I played a Hammond B3 organ (with a Kruger string bass pedal unit), and occasionally an accordion, in a very active band in central NY for over 15 years, playing 4 times a week, mostly rock and roll, but we did everything. This was mostly clubs along with weekly wedding receptions. I also played pipe organs (the real deal) several times every Sunday in local churches for 10 years.

I currently use a 3 keyboard midi setup with several E-MU midi rack sound modules. Utilizing the E-MU Proteus 2K, I have many voices (sound programs) at my disposal; however I do favor the E-MU B3 sound module. I have a practice room dedicated just to music (aprox 18′x20′, located above my garage). I practice several times a day so I have to insist that we practice at my home in Loganville because I just have too much equipment to keep moving around and setting up.
