12-24-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – The band Roads is looking for a new member! As of right now Roads only plays around Portland/Vancouver/Seattle areas. We are not a busy band, due to members having other band projects. My goal for Roads is to go as far as God wants us to go. We would like to get to the point where we are playing at least 4 shows a month.

09-27-11 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – We are a guitarist, bass player and a drummer looking to complete the musical equation by adding a second guitar player. The ideal person will have pro equipment that they know how to use and use well. Shared responsibility between rhythm and lead. Creativity and collaboration are two strengths we are looking for particularly. We are looking for an equal partner that can hold their own when it comes to writing and playing. Vocals (lead or background) are a plus. We are looking to bring to the music scene a familiar, but new sound. Hard, melodic rock is the genre we will be engaging. Not HARDCORE/SCREAMO or DEATH METAL but a marketable sound along the lines of such pioneering bands as Queenstyche and Metallica. We are not looking to sound like these bands, but we realize they have mastered a formula for songwriting. This will be a fresh sound with intensity and power. Driving rhythms, positive message filled lyrics and strong hooks will be the theme. We are not looking for boozers or druggies to fill this slot. The music is too important to us and we all have a great deal of experience and know the problems those things can bring with them. As well, we each have a relationship with God and are not afraid to say it (ergo my saying it here). We are not looking to be a Christian band but one that utilizes our God given talents to bring music to the masses. We have a private rehearsal space with 5000 watt professional PA (Crown, Peavey, Yamaha, Shure, etc.) that allows us to play virtually anywhere.
