03-27-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Here’s the scoop-

I want to start a noise/noise rock/experimental/avant garde/rock and roll band. I want the majority of the songs to feature fast paced guitar and/or bass along with drums, while 1 or more other members run loops, samples, or layer on other sounds with conventional instruments. The key here would be to both create a unique noise sound, while keeping it rocky and danceable. I want there to be different levels to enjoy the music.

The more instruments you play the better. I’m just getting started on drums right now, but I finally have a kit at my house to practice on, so I should be improving rapidly. I already play guitar and bass, and would like to see members of this project jump from instrument to instrument between, or even during songs.

Let me know if any of this interests you. My other band only practices twice a week, so I’ve got plenty of time for one-off jams!

01-23-12 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – All original rock group in the nws looking for a Keyboard player. We have a lead singer rhythm and bass guitar and also a drummer.

We are looking for a lead player not another rhythm guitarist, if you play lead and would like to give it a shot we would love to give you a shot.

We are also looking at adding a keyboard player to but we know that is a long shot board players are hard to come by. Anyone interested must be willing to be dedicated and willing to practice 2 times a week at first so we can start giging soon. We all have day jobs but are serious about music and have a ton of resources at our disposal and plan to gig a couple times a month.

The number one question what do we sound like think DMB meets matchbox 20 we are not heavy metal but not a light rock band either.
