The band “Reeds Hazel Eye” is currently seeking a “dedicated” keyboard player with vocal ability. In addition to also being able to play piano and synth, the keyboard player should have some familiarity with the industry standard “Hammond Organ”.

Not necessary to actually own a Hammond but some familiarity with how to play the instrument.

Please, we are not looking for multi-instrumental musicians that would like to switch instruments with other musicians. We do not switch instruments among band members. The guitar, bass and drum positions are filled.

Each musician (in this band) performs on their dedicated instrument. If you meet the requirements and wish to audition then we assume you will be playing “only” keyboards while you are singing. The position we seek is for a “dedicated” keyboard player with lead vocals.

Vocal ability is required as we share the role of lead vocals in the band.

We are primarily a Jam Band that seeks to perform a diverse range of expressive and improvisational music that has at its core an enlightening chemistry of extended solos. The solos should be well grounded, soulful and include a higher degree of musical composition than the norm. Our genres span Alternative/Modern Rock, Jazz Rock, Electric Blues and Classic Rock all wrapped up in the Jam Band type environment. At some point we’d like to include original compositions.

Must be able to control your volume. Controlling dynamics and volume is a sign of a mature and professional musician. We all have day jobs and seek to perform at least 1x to 2x per month to start. Full PA and practice space available. Current ages of band members are in the 50′s.
