11-24-11 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – Hey! I’m new in Arcata, I’m a 19 year old dude and I’m looking to put together a band. I want it to be a real rock band. I don’t want to be a cover band or a tribute band, but I want to do what The Rolling Stones and Beatles did, and just start off playing all different songs of different genres and getting the feel for playing and have fun doing it. And if after performing for a while we get the hang of it and can write our own material then yeah! but if not thats cool too. But no rush, the Stones couldnt write for years. But I’m looking for a few guys, preferrably HSU students, but chill sane guys. Who love the rollling stones, the beatles, led zeppelin, bob dylan, etc. I would need a guitar player, a bass player and a drummer. Typical band, but maybe even a keyboard player instead of the bass, who knows. But im just looking for a few young good trustworthy guys who love music and wanna have fun. I’m a little nervous about having this ad up here because i dont want scary people! haha, But as for me, I look pretty young people tell me, and of course theres alot of things to say about anyones self, but to sum it up, I dont hate, and if you do, then i dont think this band is for you.
