01-04-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – We are starting a glam band. We = a guitarist and female vocalist. If you’re into that kinda stuff, we are open to organ, etc .

We don’t have any set number of people in mind and we do have practice space in Detroit. We want this to be a fun, over the top party band with all the trimmings (make up, ridiculous outfits, some theatrics). We are definately partiers (drink and smoke) but take the music seriously (nothing sloppy). We’re going for a more classic, vintage vibe along the lines of the Sweet, Queen, Bowie, T-Rex, New York Dolls, Roxy Music, 1910 Fruitgum Co., Elton John. We are also very influenced by early heavy metal and rock such as Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy, Frank Zappa, the Runaways, Rush, MC5, the Stooges, Roky Erickson, Stones, Girlschool, Motorhead, and Suzi Quatro.

The vocalist is also a clothing designer, so stage wear will be totally custom and over the top. We are also looking for any other artists who may want to get in on the stage show aspect.
