We are open to all sorts of music but we definitely have interests in classic soul (love that B3 sound), Jack Johnson type stuff as well as some old school blues and B-side type cool rock tunes. 03-02-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – We are a 28 year old bassist/singer and a 19 year old drummer. We both live in Burnaby and rehearse at charts studios. We are the reincarnation of the band “Aviator Shades” that was about to really go somewhere but other members were not committed. We will have the rights to the music from Aviator Shades so we already have a great foundation.

We are looking for 2 serious, image conscious and dedicated Lead Guitarists (Aged 19- 30) who play with a retro rock feel in the same vein as Slash, Angus, Don Felder, Joe Walsh(Just old School Blues Rock) and who want to do everything they can to make it in the music world.
You should be proficient at both Rhythm and Lead guitar and be able to put on an awesome live show, have pro equipment and transport and money to fund your ambition. We would be looking to Jam 2-3 times a week with the aim of gigging twice a month, once at least, as well as putting in the effort required to promote a band, get the name out there and get people into shows.
Also should have or be willing to grow long hair and dress and look the part.

The vision of the Project is 2 Lead guitarists trading solos and ripping out blazing guitar harmonies over pounding drums and thundering bass and blowing people away, so its lead share.

Influences should include, Thin Lizzy, GNR, AC/DC, Maiden, Van Halen, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Rush…etc.

Playing blues (old-school blues, texas blues, swing jazz-blues) of the non-blues rock variety by artists such as albert collins, guitar slim, bb king, buddy guy etc as well as r&b-soul type stuff, a variety of originals in various tasteful genres. 04-16-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – We are a new up and coming band. Our sound is almost like Led Zeppelin meets Sly and the Family Stone with an old school blues twist. We have been in the studio for the past three months recording our first album that will be out in two to three months. The songs are all written and completed.
