We are seeking a Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocalist. We have been auditioning people and have yet to find the fit we are looking for. . .so the search continues.

We are currently a Rhythm Guitarist, Percussionist, Bassist (me) and a Female lead Vocalist. Our musical influences are varied and we fuse those varied influences into what we are writing. We all get along together very well and we don’t sweat the small stuff. This allows us to keep the creativity flowing.

In short, this is drama free and a very laid back situation. We do this because we actually like what we are doing and are not under some illusion we are going to get rich doing this!

We have no plans to gig more than once a month and we rehearse once a week (Sundays). We do this in a very nice studio in Canton. One of our goals is put together a CD.

Here is what we are looking for in you and what we are NOT looking for in you.

First you must be able to get along with the rest of us, so if you are ego-maniacal or a control freak or just a general asshole in some way please don’t bother.

We haven’t had that problem with anyone we have auditioned so far and we mean to keep it that way.

If you have a problem with your poisons don’t bother, but do get professional help!

If you are the hired gun type or are in this for money see the prior statement or get in a wedding band. You should have quality gear because if you don’t, it is unlikely that you are going to sound good. . .unless you REALLY and I mean REALLY know what you are doing with it.

Let’s face it, a quality 1×12 or 2×12 tube combo will sound better than a full Solid State Crate stack. And you must have decent (or better chops) in both the lead guitar and vocals department. You may asked to sing lead on up to half of the songs and backing where needed. No set percentage here as I use this as an illustration to the level of skills we are looking for.

02-07-12 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – We are One Time Hero, an original female fronted hard rock band. Unfortunately do to personal reasons our guitarist is leaving the band.

We are looking for a new guitarist to keep things rolling. We are established with a growing fan base.

We have an EP and are currently working on recording a second cd. We are looking for someone over 21 with pro gear, this includes effects (some of our songs are heavily effects based) who has stage presence.

my plan is to play covers to start out and eventually start makeing originals. a local band that would be a good example of the sound and style i am looking for is x-krush. basicly just like x-krush but with modern rock/hard rock music.

02-07-12 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – HIGHLY SKILLED Male Bass Player and Drummer needed to complete comedy/novelty cover band lineup.

All the usual requirements
necessary pro gear, dedication, a car, back ground/lead vox, not being like a hundred years old, etc. The only special prerequisites
would be, a REAL GOOD sense of humor, the ability to not take yourself too seriously and a GIANT pair of BALLS wouldn’t hurt either.

If you’ve made it this far into the ad I can tell you the material we will be playing will be exclusively songs written, recorded
and/or popularized by WOMEN. . .that is, in our own three piece, all dude, rocked out way. And, on top of that, there’s another
twist that I won’t tell you about until you get back to me. I know this thing will be a lot of fun and, I think it could be fairly
profitable if we do it right.

02-05-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – Well known local GLBT duo (the) fundamentalists () are looking for a percussionist/drummer to round out our sound.

We have an electronic (synth rock/synth pop) type sound with a wide range of influences. We have the roland percussion unit the roland spd-sx and are looking for someone who can play it, live-so there is no need for a potential candidate to worry about equipment, WE HAVE WHAT YOU WOULD BE USING.

The ideal person would be:
1) DEPENDABLE AND NO DRAMA-no DIVAS!!
2) Able to practice 1-2 times a week @ our practice space in Novi
3) Be ok with being in an openly GLBT oriented band (so skip the hate or wisea$$ comments to this posting-we’ve heard it ALL before) YOU DON’T have to be Gay Lesbian BI or Transgendered (GLBT) but you DO have to be ok with performing in front of mixed audiences.
We’re currently working on a new CD and already have gigs scheduled for this spring/summer.
