12-24-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – The band Roads is looking for a new member! As of right now Roads only plays around Portland/Vancouver/Seattle areas. We are not a busy band, due to members having other band projects. My goal for Roads is to go as far as God wants us to go. We would like to get to the point where we are playing at least 4 shows a month.

Material- I write/record all material and then the members learn their parts for performance. I am ok with you adding a little of your flavor as long as the foundation is being played.

Influences- Death Cab For Cutie,Coldplay, Phoenix, Owen, American Football, Sigur Rós, Jónsi, The Postal Service.

Styles- We are looking for a Bassist who plays like Nicholas Harmer from Death Cab For Cutie.

Requirements-
• Be a Christian and have a firm relationship with God.
• Have your own transportation!
• Willing to drive up to Vancouver/Battle Ground WA for practices (We practice Fridays)
• Must be 20+ years old.
• Enjoy this style of music.
• Learn the parts that are already written.
• Learn parts that are writing in future songs.
• Responsible for your own gear.
• Must want to make music your Career (Not just a hobby)
• Responsible for your own stage props (Extension chords, Power strip, spot lights, vintage cabinet, ect)
• Must be able to express your feelings about anything that conflicts with the band.
• Male Or Female is fine
• Fully Committed.
• Fully Committed.
• And Fully Commit! (We wont waste our time with flakey musicians.)
