Hello all,
I am the current lead guitarist for the 90s/modern rock cover band Constant Chaos. I will be leaving Tucson around the beginning of MAY due to Military Seperation, so we are in search of a new Lead Guitarist. We regularly play at O’Malleys on 4th and have played several shows in Tucson and Phoenix (to include Club Crawl).
The other 4 guys are great musicians with lots of experience. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly and remember well. We know about 50 songs currently and are learning new material every month. Along with working on original material.
Must be 21 or older

Own transportation

Gig worthy gear (amps, guitars etc.)

Flexibility to practice on weekends (sat or sun)

Experience in previous bands and gigging

Skilled enough to play technical solos (since a lot of 90s and newer rock songs have soloing)

Able to read guitar tablature would be great, it’s how we learn most of our songs

Backup vocals would be great as I am also a backup singer

No drugs or drama..

02-08-11 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – We are looking for someone who plays strong Lead/Rhythm guitar to complete our lineup of bass, drums, and a singer who plays some acoustic guitar. This is a cover band that plays anything that will get the crowd up and dancing to rock that people enjoy listening to as well. You will be handling all the guitar responsibilities and you must be able to do light backup vocals as well. Must be able to learn quickly as we already have a setlist that is almost complete and we don’t want to waste time during practice so doing your homework is a must. We are in our 30′s to early 40′s and all have day jobs and do not want to gig every weekend but want to shoot for once or twice a month so we hope that your not counting on making this a job. We like to have fun and are pretty laid back but at the same time we want to be able to knockout most of the setlist during a practice with little or no errors. Practice is on Thursday nights for at least a couple hours, sometimes it runs a little longer. Some of the stuff we play is by Tom Petty, REM, Bryan Adams, Eddie Money, Green Day, Oasis, STP, Sublime, Jimmy Buffet, Billy Idol, Lit, Puddle of Mudd, Seven Mary Three, 3 Doors Down, etc…. you get the picture.
