01-23-12 – Nashville, TN>Birmingham, AL – Pull-Tight Theatre of Franklin, Tennessee is proud to announce auditions for Side by Side by Sondheim. This production is a musical revue celebrating Stephen Sondheim’s work as lyricist, composer and dramatist, and includes songs from West Side Story, Gypsy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Follies, Pacific Overtures, Anyone Can Whistle and Company.
Please prepare 16 bars of a Sondheim song and bring sheet music in the appropriate key. The song does not have to be from the production. An accompanist will be provided. We are looking for strong singers who are also able to communicate the emotional content of a song!
