12-20-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – we’re a local alternative rock band, looking for a new bass player. We’re getting ready to record our debut album in February for release in the early summer. A real album, legitimate producer, great studio – not some basement laptop thing (which is nice for some bands, but not for what we do). After the album release, we are likely to start moving things along pretty quickly, so someone with a serious commitment to playing music is a must. Some touring, promotional, etc. are likely to be in the cards in the next year or so. It’s really fun, right?

Average age of the band is mid-20′s. According to the average listener, band sounds like Silversun Pickups, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies… influences range much wider than that, but that’s a pretty good idea of what we do. Pickups, Film School, and other similar artists. If you play an instrument that’s awesome, but not a
requirement. We have a good amount of experience so we would prefer if you do too. We play very
nice gear and have a nice recording studio. We’re chill people that get along really well and we’d like
to find someone that fits in with us.
Here are some of our guitarist’s demos including the first song we put together called Bad Blood. It’s
still incomplete (needs pre chorus and a bridge), but it’s an example of the style we are going for. The
