03-20-12 – Atlanta, GA>Nashville, TN – About the Play: Sweeney Todd is a comic melodrama. Keep in mind that the characters have a
comic slant. The playing style is based on exaggeration and archness (often comic, sometimes
twisted) in keeping with the wit of the libretto and score. But the characters are based in real
emotions and problems. They are not cartoons or caricatures. The characters, although
based on character types, are grounded in individual psychologies. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Live Event

02-18-11 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Our new bar located about a mile from downtown Greenville is now booking bands for Feb – April. Please e-mail us with your music, facebook links are appreciated. Cover bands and neo-grunge retread bands need not apply. We are a rock club with an indie slant so please keep that in mind. If you think you maybe aren’t the right band for us, chances are you probably aren’t, however there are many other clubs in Greenville that will probably book you no problem. Also we are looking for bands that can at least get 15-20 people out apiece (even if it is your significant others/parents), not to say we’re snobby b/c one of the most rewarding things is watching young bands grow, but we’re looking for bands who take their music seriously and will work hard to promote themselves. Bands w/o music available online will not be booked.

01-24-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – We are looking for a singer with some pipes! and energy!
Previous band / gigging experience is preferred but not necessary. Someone who’s professionally minded yet outgoing and creative is a plus.
I’m the guitar player and I’ve played in indie/ punk bands over the years and am now tackling a retro genre. We play in the style of the 1940′s and early ’50′s but with a definite modern slant.
If you’ve played in either Pop, Punk, Rockabilly, Garage, Indie, Electro etc…. you’d probably be a better fit than a person who sings Jazz standards exclusively.
We’ve played out at clubs (Blind Pig, Magic Stick, among many others) and are looking to play more venues including festivals and record, promote, etc.
We practice once a week at our rehearsal space in Ypsilanti.
