07-19-11 – Dallas, TX>Oklahoma City, OK – We are a group of 3 older musicians. We play a variety of music styles, mostly folk tunes and improvised instrumentals. We also play Civil War era tunes and traditional old hymns. If you have a good ear for chords and rhythm, we need your guitar-playing skills to add to our sound. We usually perform about 2 times per month on weekends only. Rehearsals are once a week in the evenings. No bars and smoky clubs…Mostly volunteer gigs, but sometimes we actually get paid! 05-03-11 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – My current vocalist is proving unreliable and a magnet for drama. I’m ready to make a change. I am an accomplished guitarist who also sings harmony. I have gigs booked ranging from $100 to $200 per person per show, and have a booking agent so the shows will keep coming.

I am looking primarily for a versatile lead singer, male or female, to cover acoustic renditions of top 40, classic rock, and a little country. Please note that this is not a full band, but acoustic duo. We’ll do a lot of patio gigs, happy hours, restaurants, and the occasional smoky bar. Playing an instrument is not essential as long as you have a great voice and can entertain a crowd. I’m looking for someone who approaches music professionally, shows up to rehearsals and gigs on time, learns music before rehearsal, and takes care of their voice. Most importantly I’m looking for a partner I can count on.

01-13-11 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Newly forming band looking for a solid female keyboard player who can also provide vocals – some lead, mainly backings. Setlist is weighted heavy on popular female artists, past and current.

Band lineup has female lead vocalist, male guitar, bass, and drums. We will be performing corporate and wedding/party gigs as well as the occasional nicer club gig.

We will not be performing in smoky bars where the clientel drinks too much.

We practice in Marietta, 5 miles west of the Square.

You will like the people in this band – we are good people who are executives in our day jobs and get along like a family.
