02-11-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Solid core of Guitar, Bass and Drums with excellent vocals looking for the right Keyboard Player. This is a cover band incorporating Blues, R&B and Soul music…..at least for right now.

There are plans to possibly diversify into a wider repertoire. So the ability to play more styles of music will be a big plus. Call me and I will explain this strategy.

We’re looking for a solid, dynamic player with a good piano and organ sound. Band is made up of very high level players and we enjoy working closely on the parts to make the music as a whole sound cohesive and tight.

We need someone that works well in this type of setting with the same attitude about the sound of the whole band.

We rehearse in Phoenix so if you live close to there would be helpful. There are long term plans for this band to play locally in clubs and then possibly branch out into larger, higher status settings to make real money. Call me and we’ll talk about it.

01-30-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We’re a local country band that’s been gigging actively, four-set nights, for the last couple of years. The most recent setlist includes more traditional country (Merle, JC, Dwight Yoakam, George Strait), new country (Zac Brown, Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, etc.) and classic rock with a southern flavor (ZZ, Skynyrd, CCR, Mellencamp, etc.), but has morphed over time depending on personnel and venue.

While we all sing, our guy who handled most of the leads and front work just couldn’t hack living in Salem and rehearsing and gigging down here, so we’re looking to fill the gap. Solid lead vocals, male or female, are the priority, with any instrumental contribution a big plus. Guitar, fine; keys, better; multi-instrument virtuosity including fiddle, mandolin and dobro would be our wildest dream come true.

01-23-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – WANTED: Serious, Experienced Lead Guitarist..Classic Rock Cover Band
Seeking an Experienced, Reliable, Solid Musician with a Professional Attitude, Pro Gear and Reliable Transportation.

3-4 Hour Sunday Rehearsals starting at Noon in the West Loop. We are very laid back, easy going and have alot of fun, but we are also very serious. Rehearsals are structured and productive and you would be expected to show up on time and be prepared. Rehearsals are for the band to gel, not to learn songs. Learning the songs should be done on your own time.

This is not a Garage Band, and we’re not looking to jam….We’re looking to gig, so the ability to learn a 30 song song list quickly is required. The second guitarist is solid and will work with you one on one to speed up the process, but the leads would be your responsibilty.

The set list is Classic Rock, and consists of Zeppelin, Areosmith, AC/DC, Stones, etc., so someone that is already familiar with these classics would be ideal. The leads don’t have to be note for note, but we try to cover the songs as close to the Original Studio Versions as possible.

You would also be expected to treat your bandmates with respect, so if you’re prone to drama and or conflict, this won’t be a good fit.
