02-08-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Newly formed group seeking vocals (preferrably female, but open to male). Playing keys would be a plus.

We’re 30-50 bassis, guitar, drums seasoned performers doing covers with lots of space for improv.

Covers vary widely from Michael Jackson to Beatles to Elton, but they all will have our sound.

Not interested in sounding like someone else.

We all have day jobs, looking to gig 2 times a month and practice enough to sound good and tight (probably on weekends where we don’t gig).

Ideal candidate must be available for weekly rehearsals on a flexible schedule. We aren’t looking for “hired gun” type players, we need someone that would be dedicated. We have a regular rehearsal space complete with drum kit.

02-05-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – Well known local GLBT duo (the) fundamentalists () are looking for a percussionist/drummer to round out our sound.

We have an electronic (synth rock/synth pop) type sound with a wide range of influences. We have the roland percussion unit the roland spd-sx and are looking for someone who can play it, live-so there is no need for a potential candidate to worry about equipment, WE HAVE WHAT YOU WOULD BE USING.

The ideal person would be:
1) DEPENDABLE AND NO DRAMA-no DIVAS!!
2) Able to practice 1-2 times a week @ our practice space in Novi
3) Be ok with being in an openly GLBT oriented band (so skip the hate or wisea$$ comments to this posting-we’ve heard it ALL before) YOU DON’T have to be Gay Lesbian BI or Transgendered (GLBT) but you DO have to be ok with performing in front of mixed audiences.
We’re currently working on a new CD and already have gigs scheduled for this spring/summer.

02-04-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Hi! We’re a newly formed 3-piece doing hard rock/ alt-metal stuff. We’re looking for a singer. We have 7-8 musical tracks finished, ready for a vocalist to jump in and help finish them off and get on stage and in the studio. PLEASE HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SINGING WITH A GROUP…even HS choir is fine.

We’re all early 30′s, responsible guys with good musical backgrounds, stage and touring experience and a good, unique sound. We’re looking for someone mid-late 20′s up to mid 30′s that has a good strong rock voice. Think Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Chevelle, Audioslave, Tool, AFI. The ability to scream or rap or whatever is great, but a strong singing voice is first and foremost. Eddie Veder wanna-be’s are not what we’re looking for. A mildly unique sound would be great.

Goal: We would like to book local shows to make extra money, and simply have fun playing music. We have professional gear and practice space.

We are looking for someone that can sing a variety of different songs from hard rock, to classic rock. We practice 1 – 2 times per week, and would like to play on weekends.
