01-24-12 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – Regal Parties is a company that provides children’s entertainers at birthday parties. The entertainers dress up as storybook characters and preform magic shows, face painting and balloon twisting, and other children friendly activities.
We are looking to hire 2-3 entertainers. In order to apply you must:
Be over 20 and under 30
Have a reliable car
Have a working cell phone
Have access to email twice a day
Experience with children
Willing to work weekends
Willing to travel within 60 miles north and south of San Ramon
Look like Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Superman, or any character we provide
This is a contractor job, you only work weekends and have the choice on what days you will and won’t work. We will train you in all the activities but all the supplies must be bought by the entertainer. Starting pay is $70 an hour but if you stay with our company for a year you will make $100 an hour. About the show:
Lucky Duck, a modern riff on the classic Ugly Duckling story with music by the composer of Dreamgirls, finds a duck named Serena with a magnificent voice but not so great looks who heads for the big city to try to become a star. Ugly duckling Serena runs away from her rustic barnyard to pursue her dreams in New Duck City. Her adventures with a bunch of zany characters, including Prince Drake, Goosetella (“the most fashionable Goose in the City”) and Wolf, a talent agent and reformed meat-eater (or is he?), take her from high-fashion runways to perilous performing opportunities. Even the happy ending is not exactly by the storybook.
First Rehearsal: March, 17, 2012 (Mon-Thurs nights, Sat-Sun days)
Performances: April 21 – May 13, 2012 (5 shows per weekend, Fri-Sun)
