As for me I am a Guitarist and have been writing Instrumental music lately, and I am interested in recording Vocal Music – similar to the bands listed above.

I can produce good quality demos at my midtown home studio and market the music very well (Graphics, video, web & great industry contacts as I work in entertainment).

I can also put things together very fast without to much headaches, and am a long time entrepreneur.

01-18-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – New progressive metal band starting up. I am the guitarist, and I am in search of another guitarist.
I don’t want to play lead or rhythm guitar, but what I am looking for is someone to share writting with and ideas with. We are all very open minded.
Currently we have myself, a bassist and a drummer. We also rehearse at the Rehersal Works in Sumner. I am also skilled in recording, producing, and engineering and we are looking to record a demo. We want to complete our lineup for this reason. We also are using samples and keyboards and have this lined up once we start compiling songs.
What I am looking for in another guitarist….Some one who is at least 21 or older, and has their own transportation. Some one is open minded to using multiple guitar effects. Some one who plays 7 strings or is open to tuning their 6 string to A tuning. Some one who is sober (alcohal is fine but anything else is a no go.) We are all family men in our late 20s, and want to get something going quick.
We are all from a death/thrash metal background and are looking to try something new and more creative.
We are looking to incorporate a lot of jazz, post-metal, and ambience in our music. We are influenced by: Cult of Luna, Neurosis, A Storm of Light, Rush, Meshuggah, Cryptopsy, Strapping Young Lad, Korn… etc, the list will keep going.
We have all the local hook ups to start playing paying shows once we get some material written.
