02-03-12 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – I’m searching for quality musicians. No hired guns. You get paid when I get paid, which we will. We want to record, tour, etc. and we’re not looking to change the world- just trying to take it as far as we can.
We’re a new super melodic punk band and have some great plans (we’re about half way done writing our first EP, photoshoots, some interest from local labels), and we need members. I play guitar and write most of the songs so far, and I have a bassist. I have 3 possible singers but I’m still auditioning musicians so please contact me ASAP! The music is best described as Pop Street Punk, I guess.
It’s raw enough for street punk, but fairly radio friendly. No 21st Century Breakdown bullshit here. Maybe early All Time Low influences, Misfits especially, Ramones, A little Set Your Goals here n’ there. Just whatever, really. We have a sound and an image we’re after, so we’re pretty focused, but we welcome any outside influences with open arms. We just like fun, campy punk rock!
What we need:
DRUMS – I just need a solid, stripped down drummer. Think Blitzkid, The Ramones, Star Fucking Hipsters or early Green Day.

What we need:
SECOND GUITAR – lead, rhythm… whatever (I can play lead fine, but shredding is not required here because emphasis is on melody and playing solid parts, but if you’re lead, solos are welcome – just keep in mind that it’s mostly punk)

02-03-12 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – We’re looking to audition bass players for our band. We’ve been together for one year and we’ve been playing shows all around the valley. We have about 15 songs written and we’ve been in the studio to record four of them so far.
We run our band like a business. We each have our own strengths in certain areas that we leverage to get us where we need to be. We just finished our one year business plan which includes recording, continuing to write, playing local shows, a small tour, a street team, social media strategy, and more.
Let us know if you’re interested and we can send you some links to listen to our recordings.

01-21-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Greetings,
I am producing a supernatural horror thriller feature film in the “found footage” genre. We are in the final stages of filming.
I am looking for a couple actors to play “People On The Street.” This will be shot documentary style where our main characters will come up to you on the street and ask you a few questions about this house, that is the main setting and plot of the film. These will be short, 5 minute interviews. They’ll all be intercut together in the final version – similar to the end of “Boondock Saints.”
And send me your headshot/resume/reel to the above email. Thanks!
Nathan

01-21-12 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – Hi thanks thanks for reading this.
I am looking to put together a small trio for the express purpose of performing on a street corner in Manhattan. I want to keep the instrumentation organic and acoustic, with no need for amplification.
Hence tuba to carry the bass (or some similar instrument, perhaps baritone sax) and then clarinet or flute as the lead and melody, and then I will be on a small brush trap kit.
Given the nature of the gig, it will be a lot of jamming and free form playing (more of a jazz approach) for long periods as people drift by. So it is a good opportunity to work on chops.
Admittedly, I have never tried this before, but I am willing to give it a try and see if it is worth doing maybe a couple of times a month for some extra cash and a unique experience.
If you are interested.

01-13-12 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Audition for ‘A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum’
Based on the plays of Plautus The perfect escape from life’s troubles, “…Forum,” takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from the time-tested, 2000 year old comedies of Plautus mixed with the infectious energy of vaudeville. The result: a non-stop laugh-fest in which a crafty slave (Pseudolus) struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan (Philia) for his young master (Hero), in exchange for freedom.
The time is two hundred years before the Christian era, a day in spring. The place is a street in Rome in front of houses of Erronius, Senex and Lycus. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Live Event
