HEY!! We are Chasing Jane and we are looking for Cajon box player.
We are mostly playing acoustic/wine venues at this point cause theu pay a little better and also seem to be our main draw.
We already are a gigging/establish band… but out drummer is not available as often as we need him… though he is happy to be called on for back up…. we need someone who is versatile, good with brushes, marchy grooves etc, trendy syncopated stuff. If you also can add a snare and some other shakers in, sweet. If you also play a stringed instrument of any kind, that’s a plus, cause we could network you in to the 2 or 3 tunes that we play without percussion.

04-10-11 – Reno, NV>San Francisco, CA – CALLING ALL GUITARISTS AND BASSISTS!!!! The Delirium Process is in dire need for your help, we’re an up and coming band in the reno/tahoe scene, currently there are only three of us, and we have only played like 4 shows, and have a 4 song demo out. Influences: Bela Fleck, Jeff Buckley, Jack Johnson, Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Tony Rice, Ravi Shankar, Tom Waits … etc.

I’m a rhythm guitarist and singer/songwriter looking to start up a band. My guitar style ranges from Jazz, Flamenco, Folk, alternative, experimental. I sing and write decent lyrics. I’m looking for another experimental and dynamic guitarist to play leads and to collaborate with on ideas. Also looking for a percussionist/drummer… preferably one that doesn’t mind playing with brushes, congas, and not just a loud drum kit… Less would be more for this project in the percussion, nevertheless percussion is essential. And of course if there is any upright bass player or electric bass player interested please contact as well. Other then that, if there is any players out there that play such eastern instruments as the oud, that would be something I am also very interested in.
Ideally, would like to work on original material with everyones input involved. Record, and play out. I don’t have a rehearsal space at the moment. That being said, if you feel like jamming to see if there is any chemistry, . Up until now my songs are pretty down home and stripped down. But here is a link to some tunes. The first tune is a live recording of the band I used to play with. That is kind of what I’m looking to do, but more developed.
