Reskara is seeking a guitarist for live shows. We are a hard rock/metal band looking to shop our demo to labels once we have a functioning live act. You will be paid well for shows frequently. You must have a strong rhythm hand capable of down picking all three top strings fast while palm muting.

Soloing virtuosity is not required, but appreciated. We’ve met a lot of guitarists who can solo their asses off that can’t hold solid timing. This is not what we’re looking for.

This is the kind of music our band “buzzards bayou” plays. We are button accordion, fiddle, bass and drums. We are in the process of some personnel changes and need a strong rhythm guitarist who can also play some leads for the zydeco stuff. A couple of points: this music is relatively unknown due to the fact that only a few people know how to play this music, let alone play it on the appropriate instruments, outside of s.w. louisiana . Also,it`s hard to believe there could possibly be a better dance music on earth.
