No drugs, beer once in a while but we show up to practice or gig not to party.
Commitment, we pratice once a week, usually Friday night or Sunday afternoon, if you have a super busy social life and can not commit to those days most of the time, it will not work, we rarely practice on weeknights. Please consider this before you answer the ad.
Must have a rock style voice, a little grit and gravel, play harmonica or you want to play harp and are willing to learn and invest in some harps, have your own gear – mic, stands, cords, usual singer gear.
Its probably better that you have a life and job, no pros (money only motivations) or people trying to “make it”, we are just a local cover band that strives to be a quality cover band and thats basically what we wnat to do, closet muscians with music as our main hobby.
We practice in Escondido, usually do studio versions of songs, two guitars, bass, drums, a female singer with hand percussuion, Current and future setlist will be late 60s, classic rock all the way through the current decade rock, all rock, hard rock, bluesy rock, classic rock, and modern rock, not too many ballads.
We are probably going to focus on a few more modern tunes and have about a 60/40 split of classic/modern rock.

The band has a specific genre of summer music covering Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Motown and Beatles as well as other familiar ’60s dance songs.

We are NOT your average “classic rock bar band” The successful candidate will be able to handle cover leads as well as insert his or her own lead style.

Voice capabilities for back up or lead singing is a huge plus. Must also be willing to perform free gigs occasionally for community involvement (Relay for Life etc).

Most importantly, we are looking for chemistry and fit.

This is a “no drama” mature band that enjoys playing together.
