05-26-11 – Miami, FL>Orlando, FL – Heavy Bastard is a hardcore punk/crossover cover band made up of veterans of the South Florida music scene.
We currently have 40 songs under our belt and have played out numerous times in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area with future gigs booked or being booked as this is posted. Currently our sets consist of cover songs by Black Flag, Bad Brains, Descendents, GG Allin, The Meatmen, DRI, The Mentors, Suicidal Tendencies, Angry Samoans, COC, The Stooges, Ramones, SOD, The Accused, Motorhead, Gang Green, Dead Kennedys, Murphy’s Law, MDC, The Misfits, Minor Threat, Naked Raygun, DI and Dr. Know while constantly adding other punk/crossover tunes to our set list. We also have a private recording studio that we rehearse at twice a week that has drums for use already there. So you will not need to lug a kit back and forth.
