04-04-11 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – Announcing the Verde Valley Sunset Music Series taking place this Fall 2011 – a family friendly outdoor concert series
In the meantime we are going to be kicking off the Verde Valley Sunset Music MINI-Series.
The MINI-Series will help raise awareness for our cause and serve as a way to showcase local bands, and musicians and to build momentum for the main series this Fall.
The MINI-Series will take place periodically at many venues througout the Verde Valley. Artists that participate in the MINI-series will be in consideration for a paid performance at the main series for a crowd of 5,000 as well as some other paid events held at the local Oak Creek Vineyard this Spring!
Right now we are working with the Old Corral Bar in Cornville who has offered to let us host Fridays.
The first date of the series is April 8th between 7-10pm and we will host up to 4 bands for 30-45 minute sets.
We are looking for bands who play Classic Rock, Country, Blues, Reggae, Alternative, Indie, Acoustic, Latin, World…etc.
Sorry no heavy metal, punk, or things of that sort – its just not that kind of crowd.
