01-13-12 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – The Odd Couple (Female Version)
From the writer of “Barefoot in the Park,” “The Sunshine Boys” and “Rumors” comes this
classic comedy about two roommates, this time with a twist. Instead of Oscar and Felix,
Ithe lead characters are Olive and Florence. It’s a fun new take on a well worn play.
“The Odd Couple (Female Version) plays for 2 weekends only February 24 – March 4, 2012 in the
Playhouse Merced mainstage. Rehearsals run 4-5 weeks before the opening of the show and are
typically during the week in the evenings, and then some weekends. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Live Event
12-21-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – The Sunshine Boys tells the story of two elderly vaudevillians, formerly partners known as “Lewis and Clark,” who grew to hate each other over the years, and for their last year together never spoke to each other off-stage. When Clark’s nephew tries to bring them together to perform their old act on television, they have to learn how to get along with each other. The play derives much of its appeal from speculation about whether some real-life comedy duos experienced similar problems.
