Show Summary:
Charity Hope Valentine just wants to be loved – maybe a little too
much. A taxi dancer at the Fandango Ballroom in New York City,
Charity’s eternal optimism is as problematic as it is inspiring. She
sings and dances her way through a slew of romantic encounters
and mishaps, from a married man who ends up pushing her into a
lake, to a famous movie star who gives her a taste of the
glamorous life before making up with his mistress, to a
claustrophobic square who may just be the one. Charity keeps her
head up with the help of her brassy girlfriends at the Fandango
Ballroom, who hold on to the hope that “There’s Gotta Be

At the moment we have a couple of originals and our cover list includes: Breed by Nirvana. Wherever I may Roam by Metallica. A Black Sabbath mash using, NIB, War Pigs, Paranoid, and Sweet Leaf. Degenerated by The Lone Rangers.

Stuff we’re thinking of doing: Slither by Velvet Revolver. Only by Anthrax.

We practice every other sunday. Practice will either be in Tefft or North Judson. Looking to play out once a month.

Singer: Someone who can really sing, not just scream.

In the future our covers will be determined by our singers range. We’d like to go heavy (ie Pantera, and the like) but we’re mainly a hard rock band.
