02-17-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – We’re a relatively new group comprised of some very established players from around Metro Detroit, who have come together to play some great music, not typically being played by other groups in the area, and we’re shopping for a new guitarist.

Our influences are varied, as is our chosen material and we’re seeing a lead guitarist who can add that something special, while bringing a strong presence (both instrumentally and vocally). The kind of guitarist that will be the best “fit” for this group will have a deep bag of tricks and can adapt to a wide range of genres, styles and music types.

Our instrumentation lineup is: Guitar/vocals, Multi-Keyboard/vocals. Bass/Vocals & Drums/Vocals and we come from different backgrounds (jazz, funk, R&B and R&R) to put a unique spin on whatever we play.

We pull our material from the last 4 decades and will do renditions of “b sides”, lesser played classic rock tunes, modern blues, fusion/funk jazz, alternative rock and soulful funky stuff. If you want to play Zep covers, Freebird, Sweet Home Alabama or Margaritaville all night, this won’t be your project. If you aren’t comfortable playing extended or altered chords, complex changes or non-pentatonic or non-blues scale based solos, this could be a tough gig for you. 12-29-11 – Boston, MA>Portland, ME – “Road House Band” is looking for a male singer with a great voice!!! We are in need of someone who can handle various ranges (Exp: Low-Mid-Hi). Please, screamers no need apply. All the members of the band are well-rounded professionals and would like the same from you. Understand we all have lives but you must possess a passion for music (NO DRAMA PLEASE). We meet twice a week, Wed around 6pm til 9 and Sat around 2 to 5pm.
We’re mainly a classic rock band but we also perform mainstream rock and top 40 tunes as well. Each member of the band can sing but we’re missing that most important piece which I believe is so hard to find today. The singer must also be a SHOWMAN! 08-28-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Three Chords and the Truth is looking for an experienced pro who can learn our set list and be available for gigs.
We currently consist of male lead vocals who doubles on guitar and harp and female lead vocals who doubles on keys.
At this time we are working as an unplugged duo. We want to be able to go as a trio to full electric with a sub guitarist which may lead to permanent
membership. We already have bass and drums in the stable. Must be able to learn songs on the fly with minimal rehearsal. Not a heavy commitment here
as far as adhearing to a regular rehearsal schedule. Two or three rehearsals to start and show up to gigs from then on.
The right candidate is within 30 minutes of Concord Mass. You are a reliable teamplayer. Your 30 something to 40ish.

Your willing to travel within reason. You can play da blues and classic rock in your sleep. You can nail the signiture licks/riffs to the songs. Can’t be just close, but dead on.
We can tell the difference. If you can play slide and work with open tunings…….Big Plus… Great opurtunity for the right person. We are looking to get someone on board soon for a 9/24 show.
