03-07-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – My guitarist and I (bass) are starting a hard rock band a bit on the progressive side and are currently looking for a talented vocalist who can not only scream well, but most importantly, sing well! A perfect example of someone with these traits would be Maynard from Tool, not to say we are looking for someone exactly like him but along those traits vocally. Some of our main influences are System of a Down, Tool, and Mastodon to name a few. If you like that type of music then you will probably like our music because its along those styles.
We only want someone who is very dedicated, someone who is NOT currently in a band, and someone that wants to take the music as far as we possibly can. The main motivation for the band is to go out and have fun! Music is a hobby for all of us and we have no intentions of becoming “big” or “making it.” This is a fun but serious hobby for us, a casual but committed situation, where we can do what we enjoy and profit a little.
Composed of 2 guitars, drums, and bass. We have a great mix of music comprising 70 + songs from the 50′s, 60′s, 70′, 80′, and popular songs on the charts today. Venue contacts and show opportunities ready to go, just need a vocalist.
