08-28-11 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – I’ve put together a project called Damaged Reality and am looking for others interested in assisting me during live shows.
I need a bassist, keyboard player (laptop ok), and would like to find a drummer as well.
I have a lot of material, written as well as lots recorded, but I would rather have a live band than to rely on playback. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, and not a lot of people are even familiar with the style of music, but I like to experiment with what I’m doing and I like to keep changing it up. If you’re familiar with Industrial Rock, you’ll probably already know what I mean. If not, but you’re interested in working with me to take this mess out of the studio and to some gigs, you’re in for a trip. It’s a whole different ball of wax, this project, and I’m looking for different folks to fill it out live, and for later recording sessions if it works out that way. All you need are the skills I’m after, the love for the music being made, a good attitude, and your own gear. My gear isn’t anything special, and I’m trying to avoid relying on playback for live performances. Also, you should probably check out what this stuff sounds like at this point in time, just so you know what you’re getting into. -reality is the link.
