Our bass player is going into the Military the first of April, So we need someone soon. We are a 5 piece band with 3 singers. Our band name is Burning Years, We play mostly in Murfreesboro, Cookeville, McMinnville about 2 to 3 weekends a month. We practice near Murfreesboro . We are basically a Rock cover band but we will cover anything as long as vocals suit the song. We cover artists anywhere from Nickelback , Theory of a Dead Man, Lady Gaga, EnVogue, 4 Non Blondes, Maroon 5, Jason Aldean, Heart, Aerosmith. We’re kind of all over the place. We have about 50 songs we play including about 5 originals. I would prefer someone 21 and up but that’s not a deal breaker. You just need to be at least 18. 12-04-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Male singer interested in hooking up with an acoustic guitarist or 2 to work on some alt rock tunes — Lifehouse/Gavin Degraw/Vertical Horizon/Goo Goo Dolls/Theory of a Dead Man/The Script — material along those general lines. Stuff with a little pop edge is also cool. Your ideas and suggestions would be great. Looking to get together for a couple hours once a week with the hope of doing some open mics and potentially some paid gigs once a decent set list is built. Also hoping to add other players once the basic foundation is laid.
Very into tight, professional performances and really nailing the material. Clean vox, lots of gigging experience, good upper range, excellent pitch, drama/drug-free. Always do my homework and show up ready to roll. Large practice space with PA in the Milford area. Totally willing to travel to you if sound is available. Should mention that I’m over 35 in case that matters (age not an issue here), and I’m super flexible as far as scheduling practices goes.
About you: Equally into quality performances. Not freaked out when an occasional song needs to be capo’d or transposed (infrequent, but sometimes unavoidable). Some background vocal ability would be great, but playing skill is really key.

09-30-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – This will sound a bit odd, but I am a long time rock drummer that is looking for a very confident and proficient bass guitarist with a ton of stage experience. As a drummer, I can keep up my end convincingly, but what I really need is someone to show my guitarist son the ropes, and since I’m his dad, I of course don’t know much (very uncool to listen to dad):). My son is a very good rock guitarist that just needs the right kind of mentoring to show him just how good he is and can be, only I can’t be the one to impress that fact on him. He does amazing leads and can even sweet pick.
I would like to work on similar styles to Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way, Theory of a Dead Man, etc.
