03-04-12 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – Seeking Sax for existing alt Rock/underground/garage/whatever band. NYC based band seeks skilled high-energy sax to add depth to our accomplished three-piece act. Currently drums, bass, guitar with all three sharing vocals. 99% originals, we have fun, write constantly and develop the arrangements at rehearsals every Thursday in Manhattan. No age issues. We play low-profile gigs twice monthly in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and occasionally L.I. We’ve had a number of sax players, most have moved on to make more money but stay in touch because they love the music we play and the collaborative nature of the band. Some of the material begs for in-your-face solos, and we have a couple of more civilized numbers, but it’s all more or less rock-based. Virtually no money, but a chance to rehearse hard, learn great material, play some gigs, have fun, and get noticed. Contact us for more info, but let us know what you’ve been doing musically, what you’d like, and anything else. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1
