10-09-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – I am looking for an amateur photographer or photography student to do some freelance high-volume photography for a new local auction house.
There are 4 auctions scheduled with about 800-900 items that need to be photographed (1-14 pictures each depending, probably 6 average per item).
The need that the first set of about 300 items needs to be complete ASAP (by 10/12 at the absolute latest).
The next set of about 300 items needs to be complete the following week (those 300 items are all very similar items) and so on.
I am looking for someone who:
- Has time on their hands to complete this project in the time frame allotted, if not faster
- Is willing to accept this work at a reduced rate for now ($1,000 for the project), with the potential for many more higher paying projects in the future as hopefully we will be running auctions very consistently creating a need and the funds necessary to pay more.

10-06-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Model 18+ needed for a posing guidebook. It’s a pamphlet of about 16 pages where you’ll need to provide good and bad examples of certain poses. The pamphlet has already been made and will be given away free as a sampling towards a bigger project, for which we may or may not call you back to participate.
The shoot will be a simple, outdoor shoot with the photographer and possibly her assistant. It shouldn’t take more than an hour and will not take more than an hour and a half. It will be early in the morning, probably around 6 or 7, so you need to be able to commit to that time frame.
The outfit will be simple as well (white v-neck shirt, cuffed jeans, no shoes), as it is about the position of your body, not necessarily about you. If you do not have a shirt that fits the description, one can be provided for you. More grooming standards will be outlined if you make it past the initial check.
Please submit a head shot and full body shot, along with your size, weight and age. If chosen for the project, you will receive 3 8×10 prints, a CD of the edited photos for your resume and a copy of the guidebook.
