02-29-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Gigging, original rock band, with a good reputation, seeks an experienced and well-rounded drummer ASAP.
Our original rock/hard rock is not of the modern, cookie-cutter-style and is definitely not scream/grunt black/death metal. Our music is the culmination of `70s, `80s, `90s and newer styles of rock, but at the same time, we compose in a multi-genre manner, thereby creating our own unique sound which, audiences have liked at all of our shows thus far. We want to continue pleasing audiences with our music, but we must replace our current drummer who has been re-stationed out-of-the-area.
Must have the ability to not only hold the beat, but play intuitively to/with the music instead of always being a simple metronomic mechanism. And, double-bass is used as an accent in our music and not as the driving force. Time signatures include combinations of 4/4, 5/4, 7/4, 6/4, 6/8, etc. I know some of you here in CL land are the type of drummer we seek. Please, don’t ask for any pre-recorded material as none will be provided, because any real, true drummer, should be willing and able to audition within the realm of a blank slate. Just ask for an audition then, come-in, feel the music and realize that your talent and creativity is your palette of colors. C’mon…gimme a shout and let’s see what happens during an audition! — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1

01-22-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – So the two of us have recently come together and started jamming and getting the structures of some potential future songs down.
We’re getting comfortable jamming so it’s about time to add a bassist(or other musician) to the mix and actually be able to write full songs. Trying to make some progressive-alternative-art rock. More complex music but still upbeat that people could get down to and we could have a blast playing live.
You’ve gotta be able to work in complex time signatures and understand basic music theory.
We’re both pretty competent musicians.
We’re laid back 22ish year olds(idk his age) that go to OSU.

01-21-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We are looking for an experienced, fun yet mature drummer with killer chops!
We are salty dogs with 25+ years of experience, all of us in our 40′s.
We need a drummer who can slip between styles and time signatures pretty fluidly. We need someone who can play jazz, rock, fusion and hybrids thereof.
We have a great rehearsal space and we rehearse 1-2x a week. We need someone reliable, with transportation, their own kit (although the rehearsal space we use has one too) party friendly within reason, no white drugs or tweakers!!
We have been playing Steely Dan, Allman Bros, Dire Straits, Phish, Little Feat and some originals but we need someone who can keep VERY good time, has a good groove, great dynamics and can play well with others in the sandbox of life. If you connect with that type of music and feel you are up to the task, get in touch.
