Reskara is seeking a guitarist for live shows. We are a hard rock/metal band looking to shop our demo to labels once we have a functioning live act. You will be paid well for shows frequently. You must have a strong rhythm hand capable of down picking all three top strings fast while palm muting.

Soloing virtuosity is not required, but appreciated. We’ve met a lot of guitarists who can solo their asses off that can’t hold solid timing. This is not what we’re looking for.

11-29-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – we are a screaming only band, and dont do anything thats real soft. we are looking for a bassist to complete this project so we can make music and then do shows. we just found another guitar player and are looking for bass now. we do alot of stuff and have a wide variety of sound, we dont have alot of similar sounding stuff, but its always death metal and or screaming only. hard to describe, but were pretty free in our syle of jamming and creating, we are all down to earth and not very egotistic or “elitist” play in detroit, in a basement. we have pa and stuff too. im not saying you need to be pro or have pro this and that whatever that means. but you do need to have an amp and stuff like that thats loud enough to be heard obviously. itd be nice if you could do things like tap and solo and stuff, but i know those type of bassists are only into funk and classic rock type stuff. were also not a breakdown band, so dont expect asking alexandrea or acacia strain. we have one breakdown so far in three songs, so emphasis is mainly on structure, timing, technical stuff, some solos, some odd timing, we hardly ever use 4/4. but its not so out of place it doesnt make sense, ie. its not technical for the sake of being technical, its technical because thats natural. so it may be hard for you if your new at bass. we have alot of energy as well. so thats that. oh btw. as i said before we arent one type of sound, so when you think death metal, dont think like just one type, or one sound. think more like death metal/technical death metal/death thrash/a little progressive metal/a little bit of groove death/melodic death/ etc etc etc. thats the only way to describe the broader spectrum. death metal has branched out way way out over the years. thanks for rea — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1
