My influences are manifold. Rock takes the throne: my favorite band is Rush; I’m very fond of Dire Straits, and ZZ Top, and old G ‘N’ R (and most of the rockers from the 80s); Tool, NIN, Metallica, Iron Maiden. Experimenters like Pink Floyd (naturally). . .U2, NIN, The Faint, Muse, and so on. But I’m also into softer, folky sounds: Gordon Lightfoot, Tori Amos, Sting, and the like, as well as oddballs like Oingo Boingo and David Bowie.
