Repertoire is vast, covering pop, rock, folk, country, blues and soul and musical theatre. Ability to read and transpose is highly desired. Improvisational skills would be a bonus. Ability to sing harmonies would also be wonderful.

Auditions will be held on a first come-first served basis.
Auditioners should also bring their own sheet music in the preferred key, and be prepared to sing a short selection of about 16 measures. A pianist will be provided but will not be able to transpose any sheet music. Auditions with CDs will not be accepted. Those without sheet music will be asked to sing “Happy Birthday” with the accompanist.
The Wizard Of Oz opens Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 7:30 PM and will continue on weekends through July 1, 2012. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays at 2:15 PM (except Opening Night) and 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:15 PM. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special Thursday performance June 28, 2012 at 7:30 PM.

02-25-12 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Seasoned band ( Guitarist Drummer Bassist), looking for a vocalist . We play 80′s 90′s rock some newer some blues/southern. All above average players with gigging experience. All easy going .. NOT looking for screamers. We work around your vocal ability, while putting our own touch on what we play. The direction of the band is rock dance bar tunes, with the ability to jam out a little. We currently have played out in the N. Ga area ( Calhoun and Rome) with all members doing vocals, we have decided to bring in a dedicated vocalist, that we can help out but wish to concentrate on our instruments. Male female younger older, all’s ok, but the chemistry must work We can transpose keys, if needed to fit your vocals. We are looking at playing out x2 a month and usually practice once a week in either Adiarsville or Fairmount. If your looking for an exact note cover band, it’s not us. We play the tunes in recognizable melody line and put our own touch on it, keeps it fun and interesting for us musicians.
