I’m a violinist looking to start a relaxed chamber group. I’m thinking that a trio would be nice and violin, viola, cello has the greatest selection of musical offerings, but let me know if you play another instrument that you think could jive.
I’m a first-year grad student at UCSB. I have the best background in classical music, but I’m open to trying new styles and world music if that’s your thing. I’ve been playing for 13 years and my best description of my level of playing is that I’m proficient at the Mozart concertos (I’ve played III, IV and V).

03-04-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Bold, original, surreal, disturbing, thought-provoking, and alarmingly funny, it lays bare the lives of nine individuals who have assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States and explores the dark side of what harrowing acts mankind will undertake in the name of the American Dream. If you cannot attend at these times, please let me know. We are doing our best to work around UCSB auditions as well as other conflicts and additional audition times may be scheduled by request. Please prepare 36 bars of a musical theatre selection (legit is preferred over pop/rock) and a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. For actors interested in auditioning for the role of the Balladeer, please be prepared to perform an additional song of your choice to demonstrate your guitar-playing.
