03-13-12 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – Hey all, thanks for taking the time to check out our post! We’re an established band from the Chicagoland area looking to add a piece to the existing puzzle. We’re currently rolling out with a guitarist/vocalist and a drummer, along with an exciting, energetic sound that’s a mix of Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop, Psychedelia, Dance, and Latin. We’ve had the privilege of performing in some of Chicago’s most popular music venues, done the touring thing for a minute, and have shared the stage with some name bands along the way, so this certainly isn’t a start-up type deal. Right now we’re very much open to the idea of welcoming an additional vocalist to our existing family.
There’s a link to our Facebook page at the bottom so you can get a feel for our vibe and sound as the two tracks on our wall are very much what we’re looking to go forward with. All vocals are done by our guitar player so we’re seeking someone to roll through and lighten the load on him in addition to the overall really lends itself more so to a duel vocal approach. 02-01-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – Xenocide is currently seeking a frontman, lyricist and vocalist!

Death metal lows/gutterals are a must, high’s or something to contrast the lows w/ are also crucial. We are looking for the tri-vocal approach (such Vital Remains, Deicide, Origin, etc) for recording purposes.

Own gear/transportation = huge asset.

Influences range from but are not limited to: Origin, Decapitated, Vital Remains, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, The Faceless, Lamb of God, Aeon, etc.

Lyrics/themes have to do w/ space or science fiction ala Origin. Lyrics have already been written for some songs.
