Forget all of that. I am looking to start a blues band. Maybe even a ‘blues rock” band, but I don’t mean that in the 60′s British blues rock sense of the term. I’m looking for perhaps bassist that are in love with any or all of the following:

About me:
I am a 24 year old guitarist, do not consider myself a bad ass guitarist by any means but people tell me I am really good. I do sing, not the best in the world but I am confident in my ability and have done “the coffee shop thing” for years in the past as a one man show. I also have a mandolin that I need to play more but no one to jam with so we could incorporate that in for sure. I am interested in writing music, covers would be ok but want to write originals. I have a pile of songs that are all half finished it seems like, need feedback. Also, I am not that terrible at fingerpicking! 02-11-12 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – We are a three dudes aged 19-22 looking for drummer to complete our band. Our music is influenced by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, CCR, Tom Petty, Oasis, Nirvana, White Stripes, The Strokes, etc.
Here are some rough demos of some tunes we can play to start with. Take note that these are all just straight, live takes with a guitar.

Nothing polished and a lot of the lyrics are just placeholders for now. We’re aiming for a real, raw, rock and roll sound. Naturally, we have tons of unfinished song ideas as well.
