You will get to play in theaters ( 600- 1200+ seats) instead of clubs, you will get paid a fair wage for performing, you will get to tour regionally ( all of the Northeast) on weekends ( keep your day job), your hotel and meals are covered, you will get to record on our second album. 07-06-11 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – The Wizards of Winter, a Trans Siberian Orchestra tribute and original recording artists, are in need of a new drummer. The band plays selections from TSO’s rock operas as well as original material. We are currently in the studio recording a new album with Dave Manheimer of Symphony X fame, as our engineer and producer. You will get an opportunity to contribute to the project with associated benefits. The band plays theaters and large clubs throughout the Northeast during our season of November/December. Full lights ( moving heads, fog, haze, snow etc.) and sound. Next year the performance season will continue throughout the year as more material gets released. This is a weekend group. 01-29-11 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – The Wizards of Winter, the only Trans Siberian Orchestra tribute in the nation, is in need of a drummer due to a job relocation. The band performs selections from the 3 Christmas Rock Operas as well as Beethoven’s Last Night and Night Castle. Due to overwhelming demand during last year’s performance season, we will be writing our own holiday rock opera this year. Performance are almost exclusively in theaters in the Northeast. You will get the chance to play in cities like Rochester, Buffalo, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Boston etc. We all have regular jobs so this predominately a weekend gig during the months of November and December. Work on the original release is already underway. It is our intent to be complete by June for marketing purposes.
