12-31-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – We are looking for a couple creative editors for short form wedding and mitzvah films.
Duties include editing the main short film for the wedding. It’s all about telling the story and not just showing what happened. You would tell the story through the use of film score music and use sound bytes from the officiant and speeches. You will then create the documentary version of the wedding itself.
This is for highly creative editors who care about putting the best possible story together. We are not a typical videography company so if you like cutting to amazing 5d/7d footage, let us know.
Must have recent version of FCP (Not FCPX) including a powerful computer to handle 2 or more camera weddings in HD
You also need software such as pluraleyes and a few plugins to make the video pop such as look suite.
Only creative and talented Editors need apply. We are highly skilled artistically and technically and want to work with others that are on our our same level of expertise. Typical wedding videos will not be tolerated. We create wedding and bar mitzvah films.

11-13-11 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Looking for a lead actress for a short film/sizzle reel.
Basically this is going to be a short trailer/film where the concept is to tell a story in a condensed manner. We want to focus more on creating an exciting sizzle reel, but one with a solid story at it’s base. We have a good idea of what we want this character to exude. She is strong, and confidant, but only in the way that one can be when facing something supernatural. She is not an action hero, and she is fragile, but how she overcomes that fragility is what makes her a heroine.
We are looking for an actress 18-30, of any type. We are focusing more on personality and ability over physical looks. We would like you to be aware though, that there may be some physical acting (running, etc.) that will take place and you need to be able to handle that.
What we want from you is to send us your audition tapes, and/or demo reels.
Please email us with a 1-2 minute audition tape of you reading a monologue of your choosing. If you have a demo reel please send that in it’s place, unless you wish to send both.
Imagine this character as a strong hearted woman, trapped with a stranger in a dangerous place where reality is a trick of the mind and danger lurks around every corner.
The scenes this character is involved in would only take 1 day of shooting. We wouldn’t be able to pay but it will be fun, hopefully, and relaxed. We will be covering any travel expenses and feeding everyone, you’ll also get a copy of the finished product. If you think this is something you’d be interested in please contact us.
